Instructions for Publication

The following information is for authors of papers accepted for publication in jgt. To submit papers to jgt, see submission information.

Authors need not produce camera-ready copy, nor even adhere to strict formatting rules. The final formatting and typesetting will be performed by the production staff at A K Peters. However, in order to streamline the production process, we request that authors follow the following guidelines.

Text:

• Set papers using LaTeX/TeX (if possible).
• Use a 10-point type size.
• Send a hard copy of the paper and a disk containing the TeX source to A K Peters.

Artwork:

• Art should come as eps images, ideally embedded in the TeX file.
• Art should be sized to fit a 28 pica text width.
• Grayscale and color art should be prepared at 300 dpi, and line art at 600 dpi.
• For color art with sensitive color issues, the authors should provide a CMYK file.
• For art reproductions, the publisher will also accept photos, slides, or transparencies.
• Send a hard copy of the artwork to A K Peters.
